From our chairman:
Good Evening Everybody,
There was great attendance
last night at the AGM. Thanks for supporting the evening and for helping decide
some of the changes for next season. During the Summer Break the Rules will be
amended for sign off at the start of the first meeting back.
I have attached a number
of documents, as promised:
· The Draft 2026/27
Programme, the published document together with competition entry dates will be
available at the beginning of September.
· A list of the set subjects
for next season.
· The four images for
Creative Modification. Please send those PDI Images to me by the end of 11
September.
There are also a number of
dates throughout the Summer that may interest you:
· 17 June Outing– Kings X to
Charing X Walk led by Maureen. .
The plan is to catch the
9.18am train from Staplehurst (9.28am from Paddock Wood) get off at London
Bridge and catch the train headed for Luton or Bedford that stops at
St.Pancras/Kings X.
· 17 July Outing – Belmont
House, near Faversham. The site opens at 10am and a House tour at 11am. It is a
2for1 property and has a café.
· 2 August - The Summer
Social at from midday. Your partners are
welcome but please let me know if you are coming for catering purposes and just
bring your drinks.
· 14 August – Basic
Photoshop Elements. Start time 7.30pm. Please let me know if
you are interested.
· 21 August - Outing to the
coast and Fish & Chip Tea.
· 11 September – start of
the new season.
I do hope that you have a
